	BOBBY Male Tibetan Spaniel Cross. Born 2001 30cms tall. Abandoned by his owners when they returned to UK. Friendly boy but likes to be top dog.
	CHAD Male Mestizo – medium coat. Born mid 2005. Found Tied to fence outside Shelter. Character – Dominant, best homed with a female dog, or as an outside dog.
	BOBO Male Born March 2005 Small Mestizo - a chunky boy Friendly and sociable, brought to the gate, probably by the Guardia, as three totally different dogs were left the same day.
	CIRILLO Male - castrated Born 2000-2001 Mestizo - Very timid boy, found with Cillia in Huercal Overa.
	TAMMY Born 2005. Very small ratonero – a real cutey! Rather timid but craves human attention and loves to be cuddled. Loves the attention of other dogs and the child volunteers.
	MANDY Female Born August 2005 - A Small Mestizo. Left at the shelter gate - Gentle and affectionate. Very obedient.
	CHICO Male - castrated Born April 2005 Mestizo - medium sized Chico and his sibling Chica were found wandering in the Cabrera mountains by the daughter of a PAWS volunteer. Very nice natured dogs.
	BISH Male - castrated Probably the same age as Aisha Born about 2003-4 Boxer Cross Well behaved dog, currently in a PAWS foster home and well socialised - recommended
	BART Male - castrated Born Summer 2004 Mestizo - 50 cms tall Abandoned in Albox and brought in by a PAWS supporter.
	LARA Female Born 2000-2001 Greyhound. Timid but playful and gaining confidence in a PAWS foster home.
	JET Male - castrated Born 2004 Labrador Cross (with cut ears) Why do they do this????? A very gentle dog, beautiful character, needs someone who can see past his cut ears! ** Jet is blood tested in readiness to travel to the UK - no problems!
	SPECIAL (Delilah) Female - spayed Born early 2005 Mestiza This gentle dog is currently in a PAWS foster home, and well socialised. Recommended!
	ZULU Male - castrated Born 2004 Rough coated Pachon A timid boy, run over by a very concerned lady who called PAWS for help. Nothing broken, just bruised and shocked. His luck has now changed as he has a comfortable bed and food every day!
	ZICO Small Male Mestizo. Born 2002-3 Found in the rambla near Mizala. Has spent time in foster care. Quiet nature – a perfect apartment dog.
	LEANOR Female - spayed Born early 2005 Small Podenco / Husky Cross A sweet natured dog, spent the first two months in a PAWS foster home. She is well socialised and would make a good family companion Found on the day that Princess Leonor was born, hence the name. *** Blood tested, no problems - ready today for travel to the UK.
	NELLIE & TULA Both are Females Born March 2005 - spayed Both neutered Medium Sized Mestizas - very timid girls who are now learning to trust and gaining confidence. They both need a very caring home and they will bring joy to their new owners. Update May 2006 - These two little girls have learnt to trust and are now very social *** Blood tested, all came out really good, and ready to travel to the UK to a new home!
	GRANADA Female - Neutered Born Spring 2005 Breton Spaniel Cross Found abandoned and heavily pregnant, taken to the PAWS Vet, aborted and spayed. She is now gaining weight and is no longer in the poor condition when found.
	NEVIS Homed Male Born Early 2005 Wire Haired Podenco Cross Nevis is going to the UK, but he has to wait until his passport is ready!! The UK have just swapped quarantine in the UK for quarantine in Spain - 6 months; but Nevis can wait his time in the sun!!
	GRINGO Male - castrated Born Mid 2005 Brindled Mestizo 52cms tall - a friendly boy Brought to PAWS and left at the gate by three Columbian workers.
	BEN Male - castrated Born 2002 Pachon Currently living in a PAWS foster home, a very gentle and timid dog - needs a special home.
	NICO Male - castrated Born 2002 Podenco Cross A very friendly boy, found with his mate in the campo, he fretted for some time when his mate died, but now he is happy in the same foster home as Ben; in fact they are very good friends. Used to children, cats and other dogs.
	DULCIMA Female - spayed Born Spring 2005 Husky Cross Found at the road side with her sibling when 4-5 months old. A beautiful dog.
	RIK Born late 2005 – Small male 25cm. Likes to make himself heard. Friendly and happy boy.
	POLLY Female Beauceron Cross. Born Early 2005, abandoned with her puppies (probably from her first season). A very gentle nature. Eager to please.
	INMA Born Mid 2005 Podenca Authentic Beautiful nature, a very handsome girl. Left at the shelter gate, tied on a short length of chain
	LEON Male Born early 2005 - BRETON Spaniel. A little timid, but a beautiful boy. Found on a caravan site where they were threatening to shoot him.
	LILY Female Born Early 2005 Medium Sized Mongrel Quite shy but gets on well with all other dogs A sweet little girl Desperately in need of love.
	SUZANA Born late 2005 Medium Sized Mongrel Found and fostered by a kind member of the public until they returned to the UK for the summer.
	TESS Born 2005 Mongrel Medium Size Left at the shelter gate in July, is learning to trust people again with regular meals and attention.
	RUBY Born 2003 – Goat Dog Rescued when children were torturing her puppies in a river bed in Huercal Overa. Timid, needs more time to gain confidence. Affectionate and loyal.
	EDDIE Male Born late 2005 Small wire haired podenco/Terrier Cross. Always having fun and playtimes with the other dogs.
	SOPHIE Female Probably about 3 years old. Mestizo. A little timid but a loving girl. Likes to be the volunteer’s shadow Can climb fences.
	PEQUEÑETE Male Born 2000/2001 - Small Mongrel. Arrived with a horrendous wound to her neck. Now being cared for and treated in a foster home. She is a little timid of large dogs, probably due to an attack at some time.
	MOLLY Female Born 2004 – Beauceron Cross. An affectionate dog, but very timid. Likes the company of people she knows. Will hide from newcomers.
	BUDDY Male Born 2004 Small Mongrel Currently living in foster care.
	JACKIE Female Born Mid 2005 Probably lived as a stray since birth. Very timid of people. Anyone offering Jackie a home will need a great deal of patience but the rewards will be great.
	LITO Male Approx 8-9 years old pure breed pointer Arrived on PAWS doorstep as a bag of bones and hardly able to walk on his back legs. After good food and care he is now a healthy, happy boy, but he is a ‘middle-aged’ dog looking for someone to love him through his twilight days.
	SALLY Female Born late 2005 A Small Mongrel. A timid but friendly little dog. Currently being cared for in a foster home.
	MAYTE Female Born 2004. A beautiful Pointer. A very good and protective mother. Abandoned in Los Gallardos with her two puppies.
	RHETT Male Born Spring 2004 A very small podenco – 39cms He craves affection. Desperately wants human company. He would benefit from a foster home until he can be homed permanently.
	MAGGIE Female Born Spring 2005 A small mongrel. Happy, affectionate and sociable little dog.
	REZA Male Born 2004. German Shepherd Cross. Very shy of newcomers but loyal to those he knows. Excellent companion and watchdog once you’ve gained his trust. Would suit active walker. Reza just loves to go for walks.
	VALENTIN Male Born 2005. If you remember the lion in the Wizard of Oz – that’s Valentin. He looks the biz, but is quite frightened – especially of men. Needs a very special home.
	PICO Male Born 2003 - A mixed breed hound Good with all other animals. Would be happy to be an outside dog, although he loves the company of humans.
