Lost & Found

Not all dogs and cats have been abandoned, but most have.  From time to time, P.A.W.S. assists individuals who have lost their pet, and there are a number of simple steps you can take to locate your lost dog or cat.  The key to locating your missing pet is getting the word out, and exposure to the missing animal's details. 

Here are the steps you can take to try to recover your missing dog or cat: 

• Contact P.A.W.S., and other local animal welfare charities; as soon as you can! 
• More than likely, and with any luck, your pet might already has been found, and might even already be out at the Center. 
• You can contact the Center via email:  bernd@fincaelcampico.com
• Call (678) 490208 to see if your pet has been already been located, and if not, provide P.A.W.S. with any details of what to look for. 
• You can also email webmaster@paws-patas.org to have them posted to the Web - Lost & Found section. 
• With the passage of time, it might also want to print out a LOST poster, with a photo of your missing pet (template is below...)

Yapura, abandoned Puppy, found in Mojácar Area.

Mirra lost near Cartagena

We lost our female doggy at the beach of Portus (camping area) of Cartagena on the evening of san juan, the 23rd of june 2010. She’s medium, 25kg, black/cream colours and her name is MIRRA. She ran away frightened of the fireworks.

18-09-09 - "Unknown".

This dog was rescued, she is a very lovely dog, and was found staggering around in traffic in Puerto Lumbreras last week.

She has obviously been living rough for many weeks and is very underweight but vet says she is fine otherwise.

She has no microchip. Vet said she is under 3 years old but having lived with her for a few days we think she is closer to 18 months in maturity.........

Is obviously used to living in a home environment and has lived with other dogs too I think.........lovely nature.......but we already have 4 dogs......

Two Alsatians went missing the owners have scoured the campo where but to no avail.

So they would appreciate if PAWS could take the time to look at these pictures in case anyone brings them in, a long shot but anything is worth a try.

"Zues" is a 4 1/2 year old male Alsatian and Phoenix or "Nixy" is a female about fifteen months old. Both had collars and rabies booster tags. Nixy has also recently been operated on for no puppies.

They disappeared from our home in Urcal, Huercal Overa.

Collie:  We are French people living in Lloret del Mar- (Barcelona - Spain), and we found a nice Colley dog (like Lassie, in the famous movie).  She was found the beginning of July, just after the San Juan festival.  This dog responds in English.
