Lost & Found

Not all dogs and cats have been abandoned, but most have.  From time to time, P.A.W.S. assists individuals who have lost their pet, and there are a number of simple steps you can take to locate your lost dog or cat.  The key to locating your missing pet is getting the word out, and exposure to the missing animal's details. 

Here are the steps you can take to try to recover your missing dog or cat: 

• Contact P.A.W.S., and other local animal welfare charities; as soon as you can! 
• More than likely, and with any luck, your pet might already has been found, and might even already be out at the Center. 
• You can contact the Center via email:  paws-patas-warden@avired.com
• Call (678) 490208 to see if your pet has been already been located, and if not, provide P.A.W.S. with any details of what to look for. 
• You can also email webmaster@paws-patas.org to have them posted to the Web - Lost & Found section. 
• With the passage of time, it might also want to print out a LOST poster, with a photo of your missing pet (template is below...)

Remember, even if you don't locate your missing pet, there are many dogs and cats in desperate need of a good home to choose from, to fill that void; out at the Center. 

Black and tan dachshund x terrier lost in Alfaz area ( Costa Blanca North) on the 11th January 2008. 12 year old Female with distinct white/ grey mottled markings on face and neck. Treasured family pet requires daily medication due to age. Has a chip but registered in the UK.

Lost!  Her name is Laika - FOUND!!!  Thank-you for your help!  Located a week ago (Updated 4-3-08).

She is an Anatolian Shepherd (similar to a mastin/Pyrenean).

She went missing from Campico, near Bedar on 26th December.

She has a chip but it is registered in Holland.

LOCATED!!!  Thank-you for your help...  Corky was found on the 9th of January sitting on the owner's doorstep after being missing for three days!

Matrix - on the 1st of January 2008, Matrix went missing in the Alfoquía, Almería, area. 

NEWSFLASH !!!  Matrix found his way into the PAWS-PATAS shelter on the 9th of January 2007, and the owners were contacted and came down from Madrid to collect him.

He was found in Calle Oran on the 18th of December, 2007, in the El Palmeral area of Mojácar Playa.  Male, he is approximately 10 weeks old and in very good health.

FOUND SAFE & SOUND NOVEMBER 30TH!!!!

From Olivia Köchling:  We have lost our cat (male) in Moraira, Urb. Villotel, Costa Blanca, Spain on the 12th September 2006. He is four years old and can be easily identified by a tattoo in his ears (right ear: 53773, left ear: 4247).

He has "tabby" fur (grey/black) with a big white bib and white feet. He is rather big compared to normal Spanish cats.  Please contact us at jessima@netcologne.de. Thank you for your help!

From Sylvia Nölle:  My black belgium shepherd dog is missing since 09/07/2007 monday midmorning from my house in Burjulu, Cuevas de Almanzora.
Her name is Alaska, 3 years old, black long hair, chipped, sterilized and has one white spot on her chest.

She is very lovable and any information would be appreciated. I will send you some pictures of her as well, if you need any further information I am happy to give you all information you need.

From Armand:  Lost on 15/8/07 in the Antas area.  FOUND! Banjer and Sara were lost in the Antas area a while back, and were just located recently with the help of PAWS volunteers!
