TWO new PAWS Shops available in Mojácar Multi-Centro from early next year.

The new PAWS boutique in Mojácar's Multi-centro, opened by Mayoress Rosa Maria Cano on 3rd December, will be joined there by a new main shop from Tuesday 10th January. What has been "The PAWS Shop" for the past 10 years - operating in the arcade between Bar El Trebol and Juana Torres Tobacco shop, near The Mojácar Parador Hotel - closed its doors for the last time on Saturday 24th December 2011.

The two shops are designed to complement each other. The boutique will showcase the kind of clothes normally seen at Paws Fashion Shows and offer a personal service because it is a more intimate space. The main shop will continue to sell all kinds of second-hand clothes, books, CD's, DVD's, bric a brac, kitchen ware etc as PAWS has always done.

The Boutique's premises were granted to PAWS by Mojácar Town Council on a ten year lease. Mojácar's Lady Mayoress, Rosa Maria Cano, performed the opening ceremony. (full story and pictures can be found here). The new main shop premises are being rented.

The PAWS Charity Shop has always provided the bulk of valuable funding to help run the PAWS Shelter - in 2010 it brought in nearly €80.000. It is a great place to bag a bargain, and has become a regular meeting place for many of our supporters and customers.

We sell a range of clothing for both men and women with prices starting from as little as €1, to our range of designer specials range, now available in the Boutique and priced individually. There are handbags, shoes, scarves, underwear, PAWS merchandise, suitcases, bric a brac, books, kitchen utensils, jewellery and much more. If you haven’t visited either of the PAWS Charity Shops, you don’t know what you might be missing!

Donations

If you can give us items to sell, please deliver them during opening hours. In particular the nearly-new and higher-priced items can raise a lot more money for the valuable work we fund!

Any donations of furniture must be able to fit in the boot of a car, due to space restrictions.

The main shop is closed to the public on Mondays. There may be volunteers working, but they are there simply to do essential stocktaking and sorting. The only people who can be served are those who have made specific prior appointment with the manager.
