PAWS
CHRISTMAS & NEW YEARS', & "REYES" WISH LIST
PAWS are very short of blankets and the rats have eaten the inside of
their washing machine so washing blankets is almost impossible – they rely on
volunteers taking them home with them!. Also PAWS have no-where to dry them
during winter (in summer they hang them over the bushes!).
So without further delay, the PAWS 2007 Wish list is:
BAGGED DOG (OR CAT)
FOOD - One of the easiest , most inexpensive, but yet the most effective ways of
helping PAWS is to pick up a bag of dog or cat food during your next grocery
shopping outing. A small bag can run as cheap as 3-4 euros, while the
bigger ones are still only incrementally more. Although canned food sounds
like a good idea, the dry stuff goes a long way!
BLANKETS
– please do not
throw away old blankets – there are 72 dogs that would like to sleep on them.
CARAVAN - Although one
has already been donated, we have found the use of a caravan to be very handy
out at the center. Normal buildings need special permits and can take ages
in getting them stamped. Caravans are an immediate solution to basic
housing and temporary storage.
ROTARY
WASHING LINE –
Is there a Father Christmas in Almeria who would like to donate a Rotary Washing
line to PAWS?
You can bring these items
either to the PAWS Center,
or to the PAWS Shop.
